Sandra Kay Maeder

Born on March 14, 1944, in Beloit, Wisconsin, Sandra was the beloved daughter of Lucille B. Burgess and Russell V. Cherry. On December 31, 1960, she married the love of her life, Paul Maeder, and together they shared nearly 65 beautiful years of marriage built on love, strength, and devotion.

Sandra enjoyed a fulfilling career as an administrator with PS Screening, where she was respected for her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to helping others. Outside of her career, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Sandra’s passion for life was evident in everything she did, especially in the way she cared for those around her. She was a woman of deep faith, kindness, and compassion, and her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.

Sandra is survived by her devoted husband, Paul Maeder; her daughters, Tina Dugan, Susan Maeder, Teresa Valentine, and Darlene Milliner; her beloved grandchildren, Jamie Valentine, Jason Valentine, Jessica Valentine, Samantha White, Amanda Huffman, and Stephanie Marks; great-grandchildren Jaxon Marks and Matthew Huffman; and her dear sister, Mary Ann Davidson.

A funeral service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 60th Street Baptist Church (9309 60th Street, Pinellas Park, FL 33782)

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sandra’s memory to 60th Street Baptist Church, continuing her legacy of faith and service.

Sandra will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unwavering love, warm heart, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
