Scott Michael Dufresne

Scott was born on February 12, 1962, in Attleboro, Massachusetts, to Beverly Rooney Dufresne and Raymond Dufresne. He later moved to Florida and graduated from Dixie Hollins High School. On September 6, 2003, he married the love of his life, Debbie Dufresne.

Scott worked as a stocker at Wal-Mart, where he was known for his reliability and kind nature. He had a deep love for animals—especially wolves and the family's beloved cats—and found peace in the simple pleasures of life: spending time at the beach, watching TV, and listening to his favorite 80s music.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Dufresne; his step-son, Brian Walker; grandchildren Josie Walker and Daniel Walker; brothers Steve Dufresne and Brian Dufresne; and sister Sharon Dufresne Herman.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, 7950 131 Street North, Seminole, FL 33776. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, with a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery. A reception will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.

Scott will be remembered for his gentle heart, his loyalty to those he loved, and the quiet joy he found in the everyday moments.
