Shaun’s early years were spent growing up in upstate NY with his parents and four siblings. He was very active and enjoyed all the outdoor activities such as skiing and sledding. He moved to Florida in the early 1970’s. He lived in St. Petersburg and attended Meadowlawn Middle School and Northeast High School. Shaun was an avid long distance bicycle rider in the 1980’s and was a member of the St Petersburg Bike Club where he did multiple century long distance rides. Shaun worked for Irwin Yachts and Barneys Motorcycles as a mechanic. He had a passion for motorcycles, mountain bikes, quads and anything that he could go fast on. He owned/operated A Brothers Keepers Lawn & Landscape Company for 10 years in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. More recently he was a pool finisher with Pebble Pros. Shaun enjoyed fishing, fixing everything, making something out of nothing and listening to Classic Rock and Roll. He enjoyed boating on a boat that he was gifted from helping a neighbor cut down a tree. He took that boat that didn’t run, rebuilt the engine himself, refurbished the inside and painted it. He got a lot of enjoyment out of that boat and was frequently fishing at Lake Seminole on the weekends with his sons or grandchildren.
Shaun enjoyed spending time with his family and was content staying at home just working on the house and his garden. He was very hands on with recent home improvements converting a screen porch into a beautiful patio and even installed some mosaics on the family pool.
Shaun married his wife of 31 years, Christine Stewart Bartlett on November 18, 1989. Together they had three children; Meghan Price, Garrett Bartlett and Riley Bartlett. They bought their first home together in Pinellas Park in the early 90’s and moved to city of Seminole in 2004.
Shaun was the life of the party and everyone knew when he entered a room, a building or even a neighborhood. He was very often called on as a “go to” guy by many and never hesitated to help someone.
Shaun is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Lee Bartlett. He is survived by his mother, Joan Benham Bartlett; brother, Scott Bartlett; sisters, Deborah Trotter and Denise Morlan and brother, Brian Paul Bartlett; his wife of 31 years, Christine Stewart Bartlette and their daughter, Meghan Price and son-in-law, Chris Price and sons; Garrett Bartlett and Riley Bartlett and 3 grandchildren; Blake, McKenzie and Oliver.
