

58, of Largo, Florida, passed away Nov. 29, 2012 after a two year battle with lung cancer. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she lived in many locations as the daughter of a military family, finally settling in Hampton, VA. She graduated from Kecoughtan High School and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In 1975 she married her devoted husband Sam in the Chapel of the Senturion at Fort Monroe, VA. In 1977 they moved to Florida to pursue careers with the Florida Department of Transportation in the Imminent Domain Field of Real Estate Appraisal. Ultimately, Ginny retired on disability from Pinellas County Schools as a real estate analyst in 2012. Her hobby was quilting, but her passion was caring for her family. She excelled mightily at both.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 37 years, Samuel W. “Sam” Pannill, III; daughter, Susan Pannill Kirkpatrick and her husband, Brian; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Pannill Marrow and her husband, Chris; two granddaughters, Alexandra Lee Marrow and Cara Marie Kirkpatrick; a grandson, Colin Joseph Kirkpatrick; a revered sister-in-law, Sarah Pannill Bailey and her husband, Henry; a niece, Sarah Russell Collins and her husband, Mike; a nephew, John Pannill Bailey and his wife, Beth; three great nephews, Gabriel Russell Collins, Henry Michael Collins, and Alexander Maguire Bailey, as well as three lifelong friends, Pam Crepps, Cindy Sohl, and Pat Pacilio, in addition to her many dear Florida friends.
