Bill is a loving husband to his wife, Irene Limberger for 68 years prior to her preceding him in death.
Bill is a loving father to David Limberger and Cheryl Jovel as well as a devoted grandfather to 6 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren.
Bill is a world war ll veteran. He happily served his country in the United States Navy. Post military, Bill was a letter carrier of the United States Post office in Port Charlotte, Florida. Bill often worked two or more jobs so Irene would be able to stay home and raise their children and care for her handicapped sister.
Bill and Irene moved to the Largo area in 2003 to be closer to their adult children and were devoted to being active in their grandchildren's daily lives. Bill and Irene were committed members of St. Justin Catholic Church until Irene's passing.
He was a skilled craftsman, building several houses in his lifetime for his family as well as beautiful wood crafted projects including an 800 piece wooden wall hanging of the last supper, several table size historical ships and clocks, all designed, built and finished by him by hand.
Throughout their lives Bill and his wife Irene were devoted to their Faith. Sunday Mass was rarely Missed. Their lives were centered around the daily Mass, 3 pm Divine Mercy Chaplet and Daily Rosary.
Bill loved to spend time with his dog Jewel and watching the birds, squirrels and other wildlife that surrounded him.
Bill Limberger truly loved his church family. After the passing of his wife, he began attending mass with his son, David at St . Matthew Catholic Church, Largo. He treasured his time sharing his Faith with all of us especially the Youth Ministry Teens and his friends at the 11am Mass. Bill made friends and connections everywhere he lived. Those friendships were a comfort to him always.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation to All Birds Rescue 1828 20th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713 Phone: (904) 703-2815 in his honor or St. Matthew Youth Ministry. Bill truly loved spending time with our young church and the amazing animals of Florida.
