Sequim resident Barbara Marie Beegle died Dec. 11, 2013, in Sequim at the age of 88. There will be a private burial at the Tahoma National Cemetery.
She was born May 8, 1925, in Conneaut, Ohio, the daughter of Charles K. and Irene M. (Phillips) Olinger. She married Earl Asle Beegle on May 5, 1945, in Santa Cruz, Calif. He spent his career in the Navy and they lived in Hawaii, Connecticut, California, Taiwan and Sequim.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Steve and Helen Beegle of Sequim; a daughter and son-in-law Lynnese and Guy Watkins of Atlanta, Ga.; six grandsons and eight great-grandchildren.
