Billy Welch Sr., of Sequim, Washington, passed away due to lung cancer at the age of 74. He came to the Olympic Peninsula in 1976.
He was born on June 30, 1938 to William L. and Mini A. (Fisher) Welsh in Newport, Arkansas.
He was employed as general manager of Hegg & Hegg in Port Angeles, Washington.
He leaves behind his son, Billy Welch Jr.; grandson, Brysen Welsh; daughter Susan (Jerry) Riffe; and granddaughter, Kaylee Taylor.
At his request there will be no memorial services.
