Amos Jerry Hoffman

Amos was born January 11, 1953 in Bladen County, son of the late Herbert Hoffman and Myrtle McLemore Hoffman Taylor. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Amos was a very loving man who would help anyone at any time with whatever they needed. He would listen and give advice to his friends whenever the need arose. His pride and joy were his grandchildren. He loved spending time with them taking them fishing or any other adventure they wanted. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lacey Hoffman, brothers, Wayne Hoffman and Ashley Hoffman.

Survivors include his wife Deborah Hoffman of Supply; son, Justin Hoffman and wife Jamie of Dunn; step-daughter, Angel Russ and husband Gaston of Tar Heel; step-son, James Layton and fiancé Regina of Supply; brothers, Lee Hoffman and wife Nancy of Charleston, South Carolina, Donnie Taylor of Dublin, and Darrel Taylor of Pine Level; seven grandchildren, Hayley, Nathan, Joseph, Aidan, James, Kia, and David; and four great grandchildren, Braxton, Isaiah, Jackson, and Branson.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
