Annie Neal Gray

Mrs. Gray was born in Horry County, SC on August 28, 1928 and was the daughter of the late David and Pearlie Carlisle Demery. She was wife of the late Andrew B. Gray Sr. and was also preceded in death by a son, Timmy Gray a grandson Jerry Malcolm Gray II, a sister, Vertaline Woodard. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Shallotte. She was a devoted wife to her late husband and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by a daughter, Frances Mankin of the home; two sons, Andrew B. Gray Jr. and wife Barbara of Shallotte, Jerry Malcolm Gray of Shallotte; her grandchildren, Mike Mankin and wife Arlene, Chad Gray and wife Hamilton, Benji Mankin and wife Shannon, Hope Bowen and husband Keith, Machon Gray; her great-grandchildren, Christen Moore, Storm Ennis, Rachel Price, Caison Mankin, Ethan Gray, Gage Mankin, Trey Gray, Haleigh Bowen , Zoe Gray, Gavin Mankin, Alyssa Mankin, Triston Gray.

Funeral services will be held Monday September 12, 2016 at three o’clock in the afternoon at First Baptist Church, Shallotte with Reverend Bob Weathers and Reverend Eddie Hill officiating. An interment service will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, Shallotte.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Gray, Mike Mankin, Gage Mankin, Ethan Gray, Keith Bowen, David Gray. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Benji Mankin.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with family on Sunday from six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening at White Funeral Service located at 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte and other times at the home of Frances Mankin.
