Mr. Scott was born September 7, 1944 in Cabarrus County, son of the late Ray and Hazel Scott. He worked as an electrician for many years. Mr. Scott was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Tondra Scott of Calabash; three children, Deanna White of China Grove, Ricky Scott of Salisbury, and Eric Scott of Kannapolis; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Kannapolis.
