Bennett "Tony" Anthony Rowland

Tony was born August 6, 1954, in Raleigh, North Carolina, son of the late Bennett Austin Rowland and Laurice Jeffries Rowland. He worked as a car salesman most of his adult life. Tony was always a jokester, with years of stories to tell. He loved fishing, going to casinos, and his favorite Fireball shots. His love of beach music always brought out his shagging shoes with magic dance moves. He was an all around great guy and will be missed by many.

Survivors include his children, ToniAnn Baker (Mitchell Lewis) of Shallotte, Nina Rowland (Rocky Razzaq) of Kinston; significant other, Paula L. Baucom of Shallotte; grandchildren, Alexis Baker (Josef Donald), Michael Dickerson, and Mya Razzaq; great grandchildren, Kayden Rand, Harmony Donald, and Melody Donald; sister, Phyllis Bennett of Fuquay-Varina; and special nephew, Ashley Bennett and wife Kathy of Fuquay-Varina.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
