

She was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on July 12, 1937, daughter of the lateBurnette Stamey and Cora Lee Stamey Calhoun. After college Betty started her career as a paralegal for a law firm in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Later, she became involved in antiques holding and attending antique shows throughout the north and southeast. She was the former owner of Olde Winston Antique Center and Clemmons Antiques. Betty was active in Myrtle Beach United Methodist Church for several years and is a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, George Price; son Donnie Price and wife Cathy of Wilmington, North Carolina and Punta Gorda, Florida; two grandchildren, Ryan Price and wife Maya of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Chase Price and wife Victoria of Charlotte, North Carolina; two stepchildren, Logan Loftin of Athens, Georgia and Alex Lee of Wilmington, North Carolina; and one great grandchild, Kano Price of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Funeral services will be at two o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons, North Carolina. The family will receive friends following the service.
