Reverend David Anthony Guy

Reverend Guy was born November 5, 1940 in Covington, Kentucky, son of the late William Leslie Guy and Christina Clark Guy. He and his wife Wanda served the Lord with their family and moved to North Carolina in 1980 where he began chaplaincy and he became a member of the Western North Carolina United Methodist Conference. They made their home in Supply 26 years ago where he attended Concord United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, and working on cars. He was also a member of Pythagoras Lodge #727. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Wanda in April.

Survivors include three daughters, Robin Boiter and husband Richard of Augusta, Georgia, Patricia Reid of Supply, and Elizabeth Shreves of Supply; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Troy Hollingsworth and wife Ana, Eva Hollingsworth Nicho and husband Patrick, Amber Leigh Guy, Brittany Nicole Reid, Leeanne Marie Shreves, Sean Anthony Shreves, and Raelyn Nicole Reid; nine great grandchildren, Aeriel, Caleb, Isaac, Arianna, Clara, Lily, Saphera, Michael, and Rylee; one brother, Art Guy and wife Linda of Kentucky; two sisters, Ruth Daniels and husband Walt of Kentucky and Mary Bauer of Kentucky.

Funeral services will be at five o'clock in the evening on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, North Carolina with Reverend William Negron officiating. Burial will follow in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 31, 2025 from four o'clock until six o'clock in the evening at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, North Carolina and other times at the family home in Supply.
