Dora Virginia Fowler

Dora Virginia Fowler age 76 of Wilmington, NC passed away on Saturday May 16, 2015 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center in Wilmington.

She was born on December 9, 1938 the daughter of the late, Robert James Edens and Hattie Crews Edens and was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Willard Fowler.

Mrs. Fowler was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Winnabow. She worked with Cape Fear Hospital for 39 years as a registered nurse. She touched many lives along the way and dedicated her whole life taking care of others till the end; she will be greatly missed.

Surviving are two sons, Rodney Driggers of Wilmington, NC and Billy Driggers of Winnabow, NC; a daughter, Pamela Driggers Spencer also of Winnabow, NC; a brother, Robert James Edens, III; two sisters, Merlyn Edens Benson and Myra Edens Eanes; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren;

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Zion United Methodist Church Winnabow, NC by Pastor, Willie Frizelle officiating.

Interment will follow in the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The Family will receive family and friends on Wednesday May 20, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at White Funeral and Cremation Service Supply Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lower Cape Fear Hospice in memory of Mrs. Fowler.
