Dora "Little Woman" Carol Whaley

Born on June 25, 1987 in New Hanover County to Zendal Whaley and Sheila Carter Whaley. Dora lived in Loris, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Billy and Dora Carter and Preston Whaley. She was a Child of God and knew the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Dora left her temporary home and is now sheltered in the arms of Jesus. She never met a stranger and had a kind and gentle soul who loved everyone she met.

She leaves behind three children, Natalie Small 18, Aiden McDowell 12, and Hannah McDowell 8; her parents, Zendal Whaley of Shallotte, Sheila Carter Whaley of Shallotte; a brother, Dylon Whaley of Shallotte; a sister, Carrie Whaley of Lumberton; her paternal grandmother, Joyce Whaley of Shallotte and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday June 24, 2026 at three o'clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service Lou White Memorial Chapel with Reverend Tim Carter and Reverend Ray Faircloth officiating. Interment will follow the Brooks Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Weeks, Jonathan Sheffield, Sheila Whaley, Neal Whaley, Dylon Whaley and Carl Hewett.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home located at 4690 East Coast Lane, Shallotte one hour prior to the funeral service.
