Elizabeth "Kitty" Fay Horne

Mrs. Horne was born September 20, 1961 in Newport News, Virginia, daughter of the late Henry Albert Smith and Ethel Elizabeth Clark Smith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Fay Jefferies, brothers, Lacy Smith, Carlos Smith, Bill Smith, and John Paul Smith. Mrs. Horne was the Assistant Manager of Walgreens at Holden Beach and a member of Union Chapel Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her husband, Kirk Horne of the home; children, Chris Jefferies of the home, Matthew Horne (Sonya) of Winnabow, Jason Horne of the home, Nathan Horne (Samantha) of Supply, Kirk Horne, Jr. (Macie) of Shallotte, Ericka Horne (Devin) of Nakina; stepson, Quentin Horne of Dillon, South Carolina; grandchildren, Matthew Horne, Jr., Harper Walker, Owen Horne, Rebecca Horne, Walker White, Ryleigh White, Brandi Burroughs, and Alisha Horne; great grandchild, Harlow Burroughs; sisters, Cynthia Tyner of High Point, NC and Mary Lou Bristow of Urbanna, Virginia.

Funeral services will be held Friday February 14, 2025 at three o'clock in the afternoon at Union Chapel Pentecostal Church with Reverend Regan Mintz and Reverend Freddie Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Jefferies, Matthew Horne, Jason Horne, Nathan Horne, Kirk Horne Jr., Devin White and Joey Smith.

The family will receive friends at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Shallotte Chapel on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm.
