Frederick Mitchell Taylor

Mr. Taylor was born in Lenoir Co., N.C. on February 26, 1939 and was the son of the late John B. Taylor and Sally Olive Mae Taylor. He was a retired funeral attendant. Mr. Taylor was a member of Old Shallotte Baptist Church and former long time and devoted member of Rivermont Baptist Church in Kinston. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two children, Lisa Gail Taylor of Kinston, Richard Dean Taylor of Ocean Isle Beach; six grandchildren, Michael Taylor, Brandon Taylor, Katelyn Grant, Ronnie Gentile, Ashley Smith, and Michelle Gentile; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Brad Taylor of Kinston; a sister, Lettie Thigpen of Calypso, N.C and numerous special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 25, 2017 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at Old Shallotte Baptist Church with Reverend Rory Thigpen officiating.

Friends are invited to a time of visitation with the family on Friday from 6:30 until 8:30 in the evening at Old Shallotte Baptist Church.

The interment service will be private.

A memorial service will be held on Monday March 27, 2017 at 6:30 in the evening at Rivermont Baptist Church in Kinston, NC with Reverend Ronnie Davis officiating.
