Holden was born July 21, 1988, son of Manning Belton Soles and the late Rhonda K. Johnson. Holden grew up around Fayetteville, Tabor City, Holden Beach, and the surrounding areas. He enjoyed spending time with his three children and family. He would always make time for his family. You could normally find him in the garage using his grinder piddling on something. He was a gun and knife fanatic as well as fishing and drawing. His smile was one to remember as it could light up the room. Holden's sense of humour was extra large. His favorite sayings were, "Oh Wow" and "You know what you did." If you knew him, you knew he was a lover and a "stand-up" man. He loved hard, fierce, and fearless. Most knew as much of a lover as he was, he was that much more of a fighter. His Daddy was his best friend, yet was a "mama's boy" at times. Holden didn't care who knew it, because that was his family, and he loved them beyond words. You hardly ever saw Holden without his little big brother Jeremy by his side. They were inseparable for many years and always on the same team. He definitely left his mark on Brunswick County and anyone he came in contact with. Holden was preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda, grandmother, Brenda, grandfathers Gayle and Buster.
In addition to his father, Manning Soles, he was survived by his brother, Jeremy Soles; his three children, Holden Chance Soles, Chase William Soles, and Alamae Ashley Soles; grandmother, Kaye Crowell; nephew, Jeremiah Soles; niece, Amelia Soles.
