Howard Wallace Gibson Jr.

Bub was born on March 26, 1952, son of the late Howard Wallace Gibson, Sr. and Verlyn Wearley Gibson. He was a good, hardworking man. Bub loved the outdoors especially taking care of his many cats. Some would call him stubborn, but he was always willing to help others any way he could.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Patricia "Pat" Gibson of Bolivia; children, Wally Gibson of Wisconsin and Carol Locklear of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; step-children, Wendy Brown of Alabama, Johnny Roach of Lexington, North Carolina, and Patrick Roach of Lexington, North Carolina; two grandchildren; five step grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one brother, Kenny Gibson of Wisconsin; and two sisters, Sheila Walker of Florida and Kay Mooney of Florida.
