Ivan was born December 16, 1981 in Florida, son of Porfirio Olivas and Minerba Olivas. He enjoyed fishing and working especially landscaping. He also enjoyed helping his friend who owned a moving company. He was a funny guy that enjoyed spending time at special family events.
Survivors in addition to his parents are his siblings, Porfirio Olivas, Jr. of Shallotte, Ruben Tijerina of Lumberton, Lenzy Hunt of Shallotte, Christopher Hunt of Lumberton, Esther Olivas of Florida, Griselda Olivas of Shallotte, Patricia Olivas of Florida, and Estella Olivas of Shallotte; many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Due to the current health crisis a service will be held at a later date.
