Jabe Wilson "JW" Sasser Sr.

Mr. Sasser was born September 4, 1942, son of the late Early B. Sasser and Lois Duncan Sasser Simmons. JW was a member of Poley Bridge Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a hard-working man who loved and cherished his family. They adored him although he could be brutally honest when questioned. His happiest times were spending evenings with all the family and eating shrimp and flounder. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Judy Holden Sasser.

Survivors include his children, Judy Sasser Carroll and husband Stuart of Lake Waccamaw, Debbie Sasser Stanley and husband Jeff of Nakina, Jabe Wilson Sasser, Jr. and wife Hollie of Nakina; sister, Betty Faye Beck of Nakina; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:30am on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Supply.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:15am at White Funeral and Cremation Service, Shallotte.
