James Richard Kapper

He was born in Akron, Ohio on May 6, 1949 the son of Olga Royston of Shallotte and the late Carl Edward Kapper and was preceded in death his wife, Patsy, brother Kenneth and a granddaughter.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter, Gina of SC; a step son, Randy of Akron, OH; Step daughters, Patty, Laura and Brenda all of Fayetteville, NC; a sister, Linda of Hartville, OH; brothers, Edward and Thomas of Akron, OH and Paul of Shallotte; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews;

James was a member of New Found Grace Baptist Church of Shallotte. He was as avid fisherman. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

A celebration of his life will be held 3:00 in the afternoon on Saturday August 13, 2016 at New Found Grace Baptist Church Shallotte with Pastor Jim Taylor officiating.
