Joanna was born in Brunswick County on April 6, 1961 and was the daughter of Joseph Elridge Stanley and Jan Beck Stanley. Mrs. Jones and her husband Dean owned and operated Brunswick Towing and Auto Repair.
She is survived by her mother Jan Stanley of Shallotte; her husband Dean Jones of the home; two children, Jennifer Faircloth and husband Steven of Shallotte and Bobby Dean Jones of Shallotte; three grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jade and Aiden; two brothers, Joey Stanley and wife Rebekah of Shallotte, Jeff Stanley and wife Liz of Shallotte; a sister, Jamie Trull and husband Stephen of Shallotte.
A celebration of life service will be held Sunday March 26, 2017 at three o’clock in the afternoon at Jennies Branch Baptist Church with Reverend Curtis Vann officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home.
