Judy was born March 26, 1952, daughter of Hazel Maxine Jones the late Clarence Theodore Farris. She was a veteran of the United States Army. She enjoyed crafting, coloring, watching hummingbirds and butterflies. She was preceded in death by her brother Dave Farris.
Survivors in addition to her mother, Hazel Jones include her husband, David Earl Hewett of Shallotte; children, Tina Joyce Cox of Ocean Isle Beach, Misty DeAnna Patterson and spouse Rachel of Michigan, Angela Beth Messerlie of Texas, and Glenn Earl Hewett of Shallotte; brothers, Terry Farris and wife Kathy of Illinois, and Randy Wickline and wife Andrea of Illinois; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
