She was a spirited woman who put herself through law school as well as theological seminary from very poor roots. She and her husband Terry fought hard for civil rights including marching with Martin Luther King among others. Upon retirement she and Terry enjoyed making pottery and visiting with friends in the Lockwood community. She was predeceased by her husband Terry Davis.
She is survived by her daughter Sabrena Thormes, her son in law Arthie Thormes, and her grandchildren Hannah and Abby Thormes.
A casual celebration of life/happy hour will be held at the Oak and Anchor restaurant October 13th 6:15pm.
