Kevin was born June 3, 1955 in Queens, New York, son of the late Michael D'Emo and Mildred Glynn D'Emo. He worked as a produce manager until retirement. Kevin never met a stranger and made friends easily. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed visiting and joking with is best friend of 58 years, Dennis Binder, who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two b rothers, Michael D'Emo and James D'Emo and one sister, Michele D'Emo.
Survivors inlcude his wife of 43 years, Carolyn D'Emo of Carolina Shores; daughter, Ashley Hemingway of Gainesville, Florida; brothers, Stephen D'Emo of Reno, Nevada and Robert "Bob" Martens of New York; and one grandchild, Chiara Hemingway.
A private service will be held at a later date.
