Kristin Nicole Grochowski

"Krissy" was born January 7, 1979 in Maryland, daughter of Stephen John Grochowski and Kathleen Lina Grochowski. She moved to North Carolina with her daughter Madison in 2016 and made her home near the coast. Krissy overcame many obstacles in her life and was a hard worker, in both the insurance and restaurant industry. She was a fantastic mother, consistently putting the needs of others before herself. Her caring heart and bubbly attitude always made her the life of any party. She was a talented artist, loved spending time with her family whether at the beach, boating, or simply singing karaoke at home with her family or taking care of her many pets. Preceding her in death was her paternal grandparents, Stephen Michael Grochowski and Marie Grochowski; maternal grandfather, Robert Lina; uncles, Mark Lina and Ronald Lina; and aunt, Elizabeth Pelczar.

Survivors in addition to her parents, Stephen and Kathleen Grochowski of Supply include her husband Andrew Patrick Butler of Ocean Isle Beach; daughter, Madison Elizabeth Grochowski of Ocean Isle Beach; step daughter, Emilynn Renee Butler of Ocean Isle Beach; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Lina of Shallotte; brother, Stephen Robert Grochowski and wife Heather of Maryland; nephew, Jacob Grochowski of Maryland; aunt, Robinette Rauscher and husband Joseph of Supply; uncles, Robert Lina and wife Deborah of Maryland, Mike Grochowski and wife Sharon of Supply, and Michael Pelczar of Maryland; father-in-law, Melvin James Butler of Virginia; mother-in-law, Evelyn Katherine Kranz of Virginia; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Gardner of Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be Monday, June 23, 2025 at one o'clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, North Carolina. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from twelve until one o'clock at the funeral home.
