Lloyd Michael Blake

Mr. Blake was born on November 17, 1948, son of the late John A. Blake , Jr. and Minia Suggs Blake. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served three tours in Vietnam.

Mike was a life long resident of the Archdale Trinity area until relocating to his beloved Holden Beach in 2009.

Mike was an expert Fly Fisherman and fulfilled his dream of landing a Peacock Bass. Along with his Border Collie, Lars (aka The Wonder Dog) he loved fishing all bodies of water, with always catch and release to give someone else the excitement of "hooking one"

He was a member of Disabled American Veterans and life member of Calabash VFW 7288

He leaves love and respect for all those doing Mission Work in Central America.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
