Margaret "Peggy" Ann Martin

Margaret A. “Peggy” Martin, 82, a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Cousin, of Fairfax City, VA died Tuesday May 19, 2015 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Martin was born in Pittston, PA on December 31, 1932 and was the daughter of the late William A. and Helen Carey. She was a gracious lady who brightened every life she touched. Mrs. Martin was a teacher, legal secretary, and Mrs. Claus for charities in the Washington, D.C. area; though mostly she will be remembered as an affectionately active and ever-loving wife, Mother, and “Dandy”.

She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Kathleen M. Schulin of North Myrtle Beach, SC (formerly of the Washington, D.C. metro area) and four grandchildren - George B. Schulin of North Myrtle Beach, Frank C. Schulin of Conway, SC, Maggie L. Martin of Cumberland, MD, and Jacob Martin-Mobley of Montgomery County, MD.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday May 27, 2015 at Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church. A reception will follow in the church Fellowship Hall.

Inurnment will follow later this year at Arlington National Cemetery.
