Rose was born in Southport, North Carolina on April 10, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Milton Hugh Johnson, Sr. and Odell Smith Johnson. She was a mapper with the Brunswick County Tax Department. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Wayna Lee Sellers and Marlias Clark.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lane Caison, Sr. of the home; two sons, Troy Caison of Supply and Jerry Lane Caison, Jr. and wife Darlene of Supply; five grandchildren, Brittany Caison, Casey Caison, Oceans Hugh Caison, Everlee Reigh Caison and Evan Isiah Caison; a brother, Buddy Johnson and wife B.J. of Bolivia.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 3, 2026 at three o'clock in the afternoon at Sharon Methodist Church with Reverend Brian Raleigh officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be, Phillip Johnson, Jr., Buddy Johnson, Jr., Scott Prevatte, Ernie Hutman, Kevin Mercer and Paul Wernicke.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from six o'clock until eight o'clock at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 4690 East Coast Lane, Shallotte.
