With heavy hearts and tears in our eyes we say good-bye to our friend and neighbor. We shall forever cherish the many memories we’ve made with Mel.
Our neighborhood is like a homemade patchwork quilt, pieces of fabric representing our neighbors, stitched together for warmth, comfort and love. Mel was an integral part of this small community. We will miss his thoughtfulness, humor and smile and him riding the gold cart, with Heidi in tow, hunting for squirrels to chase.
But we know he is delighted to see his daughter Robyn, family and friends that went on before him. We are happy that he is in a new body, and walking those Streets of Gold., and, no doubt, fishing.
We live with the hope and expectation that he will meet each of us, one day, as we enter those Pearly Gates.
Till then, we miss you and love you
