Michael Eric Hill

Eric was born November 27, 1961, son of the late Floyd Hill and Alice Strawn Hill. He was raised in Marshville, North Carolina where he lived until moving to the coast over six years ago. Eric was known as “Mr. Fix It” because he could repair anything. He loved the beach and saltwater fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George Randy Hill and Floyd Lynn Hill and one sister, Donna Hill.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Shirley Hill of Shallotte; step children, Shannon Case-Ducharme of Shallotte and Brian Keith Lavery of Shallotte; sister, Doris Jean Gaddy of Marshville; “brother” Phillip Sellers of Rockingham; sister-in-law, Gloria Hill of Supply; three grandchildren, Destiny, Jenessa, and Carly; and four great grandchildren, Emmit, Asher, Harley, and Noah; and several nieces and nephews.
