Michael Leitao Jr.

Michael Leitao Jr.of Supply, N.C. passed on June 18, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on February 8, 1959 in Port Chester, New York and was the son of the late Mike and Jane Clark Leitao. He was a Brick Mason and and was known for his quality work and was given the nickname "The Brick Dr.". He served as firefighter with Pine Bluff Fire Department and Tri-Beach Fire Department. He was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Chris Leitao.

He is survived by his wife, Gwen Leitao of the home; a daughter, Shana Leitao and son in-law Zachary of Supply; four grandchildren, Isaac McCall, Daisy McCall, Tristan McCall and Jaydin Wilson; one great granddaughter, Mila Smith; a sister, Linda Moneymaker and husband Philip of Carthage, N.C. nephews, Keith Moneymaker and Clint Moneymaker; a niece, Tiffany Watts :a great nephew, Griffin; also great nephews, a great niece and some cousins he has stayed in touch with over the years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday June 27, 2026 at one o'clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service Lou Ellen White Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jon Faucette officiating. Interment will follow in the Silent Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
