Olva was born in Dillon, South Carolina on September 7, 1940. She was a former resident of Shallotte, North Carolina. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James "Tensie" Harris.
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Moore of Lugoff, SC; 2 sons, Ronnie Dean Harris of Shallotte NC and Billy Harris of Holden Beach, NC. She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 11 great, great grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for April 29, 2023 at eleven o'clock in the morning in The Lou White Memorial Chapel of White Funeral and Cremation Service,3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, NC, with the Reverend Donnie Jones officiating.
