Mrs. Schooley was born in Newark, Ohio on April 3,1942 and was the daughter of the late Herbert H. and Margueritte Campbell Zureich.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Schooley; two daughters, Ann Schooley and husband Sean Jameson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lynn Johnson and husband Daniel of Ithaca, New York; five grandchildren, Iris, Mae, Riley, Rose, and Tyler; a sister, Suzanne Campbell of Easton, Pennsylvania, and two brothers, Herbert H. Zureich Jr. of LaGrange, Illinois, and Donald Zureich of Urbana, Ohio.
Pat was beloved as a wife, a mother, and a grandmother.
She earned graduate degrees in mathematics and computer science, and had a successful career in what was then the developing field of computer systems design and operations. In that capacity, she worked for Bell Telephone Laboratories, Montgomery Ward, and Loeb-Rhodes brokerage firm. She also taught mathematics at Seton Hall University and Rosary College. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren.
A private celebration of life service with the family will take place at the home.
