Philip was born June 28, 1953 in Massachusetts, son of the late Abraham Casper and Sylvia Forman Casper. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and worked as a safety officer in various fields and retired from AEP Rockport Power Plant in Evansville, Indiana. His hobbies include photography and working on HAM radios. He was a member of the NC Amateur Radio Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Casper.
Survivors include his children, Paul Casper and wife Sabrina of Shallotte and Jennifer Hickman and husband Arnie of Perkinston, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Zack, Chris, Mikayla, Andrew, Logan, Austin, and Alex.
