Phyllis Janine Stanley

Ms. Stanley was born in Brunswick County on May 11, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Joe and Elamae Tripp Beck. She attended Jennies Branch Baptist Church for many years. She was very devoted Christian and read her bible daily. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Elridge Stanley, two children, Joseph Elridge Stanley II, Joanna Stanley Jones, a brother, Thomas Beck.

She is survived by two children, Jamie L. Trull and husband Stephen of Shallotte and Jeffrey C. Stanley and wife Elizabeth of Shallotte; a sister, Joan Holden and husband Larry of Bolivia; eleven grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday November 8, 2025 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Jennies Branch Baptist Church with Reverend Zach Canady officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
