Mr. Dutra was born in Waterbury, Ct. on August 20, 1951 and was the late Albert and Sophie Petro Dutra. Mr. Dutra was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Dutra and son, Richard Dutra Jr. He was a loving husband,father and grandfather.Prior to his retirement he owned and operated Sunshine Pools and Spa of Shallotte.
He is survived by a son, Michael Ferald and wife Allison, a daughter, Kristen Ramos and husband Richard; five grandchildren, Anthony, Julian, Mia, Chase, Haley Richelle and Christian; a brother, David Dutra and a sister, Marleen Dutra.
A memorial service will be announced for a later date.
