Robert was born in Brunswick County on May 7, 1958 and was the son of Robert Franklin "Frank" Causey and Lena Mae Hewett Causey. Robert spent his career at Shallotte Marine, a business founded by his father and mother. He loved being on the water. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Franklin "Frank" Causey.
He is survived by his mother, Lena Mae Causey of Shallotte; a brother, Buddy Causey and wife Dee of Shallotte, a sister, Von King and husband Robin of Ocean Isle Beach; a nephew, Jimmie Causey and wife Haley of Shallotte, a nice, Alex King of Ocean Isle Beach.
A memorial service will be held Friday March 20, 2026 at three o'clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service Lou Ellen White Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jason Benton officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
