Mr. Hines was born in Wilmington, North Carolina April 26, 1944, son of the late Edgar Hubert Hines and Annie Mae Parks Hines. He worked as a truck driver for Hilco Corporation. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Myra Hines.
Survivors include his children, Latara Hines of Dunn, North Carolina, Jamie Hines of Largo, Florida, and Jimmy Hines of Largo, Florida; stepdaughters, Kimberly Newman of Winnabow and Marian Mercer of Bolivia.
