Renee was born February 24, 1962, daughter of Lula Mae Hewett and the late Roy T. Hewett.
Survivors include two sons, Matthew Simmons and Andrew Stocks; a grandson, Easton Grant Stocks; a brother, Michael Hewett; her fiancée, James Bowling; and two step-sons, Kenneth Stocks and Patrick Bowling. She was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Simmons; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Hewett.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Lou White Memorial Chapel of White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, North Carolina.
