Ruth Rebecca Hawks

She was born on October 7, 1941 in Forsyth County the daughter of the late Raymond Fulp and Sadie Mathys Fulp and was preceded in death by a sister,

Mary Ann Stout, a brother, Gary Fulp and a son-in-law, Marcus Hargett.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Thomas, “Tommy” Hawks of the home; three children, Patricia Lawson and husband, Billy, Janie Hargett and fiance’ Tony Tyndall and Tony E. Hawks and wife, Kimberly all of Winston Salem, NC; two sisters, Audrey Stone also of Winston Salem, NC and Judy Speas of King, NC; three grandchildren, Derek Lawson, Christopher Hargett and wife, Rachel and Cory Hawks and fiancee’ Kayla Albert and her loving companions, “ Coco and Little Bitt.”

She leaves behind many friends from the Holden Beach area that knew her as “Moma” she will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Walkertown, NC on Friday May 19, 2017 at 2:00 in the afternoon by Pastor Will Watson officiating.
