Sally Robinson

Sally Thompson Robinson of Shallotte, NC passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Grand Strand Medical Center. Born in Kissimmee, Florida, on May 11, 1936, the daughter of the late Gladys Reynolds Thompson and Aubrey Eugene Thompson, Sr.

She was married to James Herbert Robinson for 64 years before he passed away on March 8, 2021.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition, she is survived by one special first cousin, Raymond Nicholson and his wife, Nikki Nicholson, of Forest City, NC.

Also surviving are her 2 pets, Shellie and Morris.

She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Thompson Rocker, and her brother, Aubrey Eugene Thompson, Jr.

Sally was a member of Camp United Methodist Church, and Brunswick Quilters Guild of Shallotte.

She enjoyed genealogy studies into her family’s background as well as her husband’s family. After joining the Brunswick Quilting Group in 2006, she made many items for charities in the area. She also loved shopping for antiques, cooking, working with house plants, and having a nice yard.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday December 1, 2025, at eleven o’clock in the morning at Brunswick Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Clay Parker officiating.
