Those who knew Stephanie will remember a woman whose devotion showed itself in steady, everyday ways—through diligence, reliability, and a readiness to put others first. She carried herself with an honesty that was clear and grounding, and with a wisdom shaped by experience and thoughtful perspective.
Stephanie’s life was marked by resilience: a quiet strength that met challenges with resolve and kept moving forward with purpose. She worked hard without seeking attention for it, offering help with a selfless spirit and a sense of responsibility that others could depend on.
Even in serious moments, Stephanie’s humor had a way of easing the room—measured, genuine, and warmly human. She also held an adventurous streak, meeting life with curiosity and the courage to step beyond what was familiar, reminding those around her that growth often begins with a willing heart. She was a devoted Nana, living her life for her grandchildren. Stephanie was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Steven Kenneth Fayak.
Survivors include her husband, Gabriel Lloyd of Leland; children, Steven Fayak, Jr. and wife Kayla of Sneads Ferry, Michael Fayak and wife Ashley of Chesterfield, Virginia, Samantha Watts and husband Bailey of Supply; and Kristen Graham and husband Brandon of York, Pennsylvania; stepchildren, Wyatt Lloyd, Kaleb Lloyd, and Mason Lloyd, all of Leland; brothers, Donald Sindelar, Jr. of Florida, Joshua Sindelar of Florida, and James Shirley, Jr. of Ohio; sister, Jennifer Shirley of Ohio; and twenty grandchildren.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
