Born on September 21, 1984, in Richmond, Virginia, Stephen lived life on his own terms. He was confident, outgoing, and rarely met a stranger. He enjoyed helping others and was often willing to lend a hand when someone needed one.
Stephen was unapologetically himself. He had a strong personality, a charismatic nature, and approached life in his own way.
Known to many simply as “Cowboy,” Stephen was rarely seen without his signature boots, cowboy hat, jeans, and belt buckle. It was a look that was unmistakably his and one that those who knew him will easily remember.
Stephen leaves behind a wife and three children, as well as his parents, extended family, and friends. His life ended far too soon, leaving those who knew him to reflect on the memories, relationships, and moments that shaped his life.
A service honoring Stephen’s life will be held in Fredericksburg, Virginia, at a later date. Service details will be announced on this page once arrangements have been finalized.
The family is grateful for the thoughts and support of those who knew Stephen and appreciates understanding and consideration as they navigate the days ahead.
