Tammy was born September 15, 1958, daughter of JP Lewis and the late Olive McLamb. She enjoyed gardening and spending time tending her flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Lewis.
Survivors include her son, BJ Ladson and wife Dawn of Kernersville, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Dayle Ladson and Maddoux Ladson; and sister, Judy Streaks of Supply, North Carolina; and her special friend and caregiver, Melissa Lay and husband Michael and their children, Zackary Hollis, Joshua Hollis, Karissa Lay, Michael Lay, Jr., Cynthia Lay, and Adrianna Lay, who became like family.
In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned.
