Tyler Campbell Lamb, 38, passed away on September 27, 2026. Born on February 17, 1988, Tyler grew up in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and remained rooted in the people and places that shaped a life marked by deep meaning and enduring love.
Tyler worked as a carpenter and took pride in his work. Tyler also found steady joy in the outdoors—especially fishing—and was known not only for enjoying it, but for taking time to teach others how to fish. The ocean held a special place in Tyler’s heart, and he loved surfing as well as fishing. A loyal Georgia Bulldog fan, Tyler carried that devotion with the same steadfast spirit shown in so many parts of life.
Those who knew Tyler remember someone who was always there for others, and deeply cherished. Though life was hard and often difficult, Tyler held to a sense of purpose and a belief that there was a better way. Over a year ago, Tyler moved to Launch Pad in Wilmington, North Carolina on his way to healing from addiction. He attended Celebrate Recovery-Wilmington and shared a love of Jesus with others living at Launch Pad. He was always willing to lend a hand and help others. Tyler also carried the sorrow of having lost a younger brother to addiction, a loss that remained part of Tyler’s story.
Tyler is survived by parents, Charlie Lamb and Dawn Lamb of Hendersonville, North Carolina; a 10 year old son, Beniniah Cole Lamb, and his mother Victoria Cox of Asheville, North Carolina; maternal grandfather, Noel Cost; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
At this time a service has not been planned.
