Mr. Mahler was born on April 27, 1948 in Suffolk County, New York and was a son of the late Benjamin Turner Mahler and Kathleen E. Miller Mahler. He was a veteran who served during the Vietnam War and had a successful career as a Dental Technician and house painter. Bill loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife, Dona; 2 sons, William Mahler Jr and Shane Mahler; and 4 grandchildren, River, Finley, Katie and Brooke. Preceding him in death was his oldest grandson Shane Mahler Jr.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
