Charles David Simpson born in Cincinnati, Ohio went to be with his Savior on August 23, 2017 at age 58. Beloved husband of 38 years to Debbie Patterson Simpson. Dear brother of Darrel (Connie) West, Rick (Debbie) Hayes, and Joyce Simpson. Cherished brother-in-law of Carol Boyd, Rick (Brenda) Patterson, and the late Vickie Combs. Loving uncle of Mandy, Nathan, Jon (Heather), Joey (Missy), Josh, Jessie and Richard. Great-uncle of Jacob, Noah, Cruz, Elijah, Jake, Hunter, Kim and Zoie. Dear nephew of Marie, Ethel, and the late Tom. Survived by Pastor Bob (Johnda) Schwartz, many friends and numerous cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Perry and Martha Simpson. Son-in-law of the late Richard and Gearldine Patterson. Dave was known as the Candy Man. He was the kindest man and was always willing to help anyone. Dave embodied everything one could ask for in a husband, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed.
