I just found out about your Mom passing away.  I have been a friend since we were in the 3rd grade and spent a lot of time at her house in deer Park. I am so so sorry and I will cherish our good times growing up.  I was her maid of honor at her and your dad's wedding.  My thoughts are that she is with Ron and her Mom.  we talked on the phone but never got together, definitely my loss..  Know she loved her dogs and know they are being taken care of

So sorry to hear that we have lost such a lovely and caring person.  I was a classmate of Darlene's at DPHS and I remember her as one of the sweetest people in our class.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  May God give her family peace and strength.

Andrew and Lingo family, I just wanted to let you know how sorry I was to hear about your Mom.  I know how much you loved her and I hope that the memories you have of her will help you through this difficult time.

I know Darlene is feeling great and dancing in Heaven with Ron.

Thank you Darlene for all your amazing cooking and hospitality over the years and for bringing our families together. You were a wonderful friend to our Mother. Wishing you the ultimate peace now as you are held and comforted in the Light.

I always enjoyed the time I spent with you and your stories about Matt and Johnathan.

I learned a lot from Darlene, even during her last difficult months.  She was so courageous, gracious, and generous as she faced the challenges of her final journey.  She was kind to all who cared for her, and she made friends right to the end.

As my heart aches as I write this , I also smile.  Smile because of the wonderful memories and love Mrs. Lingo always gave me ( and many others).  I cherish those days growing up next to all of you and would give anything to have one more of her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or a ride in her blue convertible.  

Many hugs and prayers to all of you.  Mrs Lingo was an inspiration and will be truly missed.
